Our First Brand Partner: Silva Espadas

Every independent film has a series of "firsts." The first draft. The first location. The first cast member. Today, we're excited to celebrate another major milestone for Finding Jose: our first official brand partner, Silva Espadas.

From the beginning, our goal has been to build partnerships with companies that genuinely connect with the story we're telling. Finding Jose is rooted in Mexican culture, family, identity, and community, so finding brands that share those values is incredibly important to us.

We're currently collaborating with Silva Espadas on a special Finding Jose T-shirt, and we can't wait to reveal the design. But this partnership represents something much bigger than merchandise.

Why Brand Partnerships Matter

Independent filmmaking is a community effort. While donations from supporters help us move closer to production, brand partnerships allow us to stretch every dollar even further.

A partnership can provide financial support, products, services, locations, wardrobe, marketing opportunities, or simply help introduce the film to a wider audience. Every collaboration allows us to put more resources where they matter most: bringing the story to life on screen.

For brands, it's also an opportunity to become part of a meaningful cultural project from the very beginning. Instead of traditional advertising, they're helping create a film that celebrates family, Mexican culture, and authentic storytelling.

One of the things we love about Silva Espadas is that they don't just make apparel—they celebrate culture and heritage through their designs.

Looking Ahead

Silva Espadas is our first official brand partner, but hopefully not our last. As we continue preparing for production, we're looking to collaborate with brands, restaurants, local businesses, cultural organizations, and companies that believe in authentic storytelling and want to be part of this journey.
